From the 21st-23rd October 2016 the CU spent a weekend in the wonderful Christian Compass Centre near Glenhsee. It was a time of encouragment, community and fuelling for mission the fruit of which we pray will be seen in the year ahead on our campus.

The main talks from the weekend are available for download below.
Friday Evening  Heike
Heike shared from John 1 about the truth, power and beauty of the true gospel. We began to think about who are the people God is calling us to invite and witness to in the coming year, looking forward to Events Week 2017.
Saturday Morning   Heike
Heike shared with us how using questions when engaging in evangelism can help us as we seek to engage the real doubts and questions people have. Looking to the example of Christ we saw how to use questions to love people genuinley
Saturday Evening   Joe
Joe began taking us on a tour of Colossians, showing how we are to pray for our evangelism on our campus. We saw how our motivation comes from our expectant prayers because we can know the heart of God through his word and prayer. We can do nothing more when we seek to share the gospel than to pray.
Sunday Morning   Joe
Joe continued a tour of Colossians, showing how Paul uses the physical culture around him to show to people the truth of the gospel. Christ identitifed similarities with people, defied the differences and then shows his distinctivness. We are jars of clay, called to follow in Jesus' footsteps.
